Our Facilities

The Albert Hall is a versatile and unique area for any type of function ranging from Expos, weddings, concerts and celebrations to intimate dinners and formal seminars. Any floor plans can be accommodated within this spectacular Hall.


There is disabled access from the Circular car park. Both levels of the Albert Hall have well appointed facilities and are accessible via an internal lift.


There are many facilities available within the Hall. There are 4 modern well appointed change rooms, a large fully equipped stage (15.5m X 18m); which encompasses the magnificent Brindley Organ, sound and lighting and a substantial loading bay.


Situated within the Albert Hall are 3 smaller conference/ function rooms and cafe on park side of the building.

Tamar Valley Room

The Tamar Valley room overlooks the City Park and boasts a built in glass balcony. It has its own kitchen, bar and bathroom. It can be divided into 2 separate rooms and is fitted with an electronic screen and projector. This is a well appointed room with plenty of natural light. It can accommodate 60 people for formal functions or 90 people theatre style. There is a large foyer area which can also be used for catering which is linked to the Pioneer Lobby via a glass stair case.

Pioneer Lobby

The Pioneer Lobby is a warm open area with floor to glass walls on two sides. It has its own entrance via the Circular car park and direct parking. There is a well appointed bar and is ideally suited for cocktail parties; but can also accommodate intimate dinners.

John Duncan Room

The John Duncan room is at the front of the complex. This room also has its own kitchen and bar. There is a raised stage and screen. It is well appointed for speeches and presentations being sort after by corporate groups. This room can also accommodate 60 people for formal functions or 90 people theatre style.


Victorias Café

Victoria's Cafe is situated in a beautiful glass atrium located on the side of the Albert Hall in the grounds of City Park.  It is a great place to break out for lunch and change of scenery from the conference rooms. Excellent coffee with all patisseries made in house. Full bar facilities with local wines and cheeses available for after your event.


The Albert Hall and all conference / function rooms can be catered to by our executive chef who can design meals made from locally sourced ingredients, catering for all dietary requirements. All menus incorporate impeccable presentation, fulfilling the senses with unique blends of taste and texture.
